Der Goffersberg wird immer wieder von Menschen aufgesucht. Davon zeugen Feuersteinwerkzeuge aus der Mittelsteinzeit, aber auch die eindrücklichen Steinkistengräber aus der Jungsteinzeit. Die Verstorbenen erhalten Pfeile, Werkzeug und Schmuck als Beigaben.
